Location
	Relative location

Relative location is a location that can be relative, this could also be considered as describing one place by using others. In this case I am describing Cardigan lodge. Cardigan lodge is 56 minutes from Concord, and it is right next to Orange mountain, Firescrew, Rimrock, and South Peak. Mount Cardigan lodge is also near route 104 and Hill, New Hampshire. You can use relative location by using the clues and hints to figure out where a certain place is. In conclusion, you could use relative location to find AMC Cardigan lodge buy using a variety of other places.

Absolute location

Absolute location is a location that is specific and can be found using coordinates of a map (latitude and longitude). In order to correctly say the absolute location of the AMC lodge I would have had to use a map of coordinates or I could mark the coordinates with a GPS (I used the GPS way). Cardigan lodge is 43 degrees, 38 minutes, 57.7 seconds, north (latitude), and 71 degrees, 53 minutes, 00.3 seconds, west (longitude). You can use absolute location to get to an exact location. Sadly most people wouldn't know where to drive if they were told exact coordinates, meaning that they have to use special devices that could help them get there. In the end, you could use absolute location to find out exactly were Cardigan lodge and other places are.

Place

Physical geography(!)

Place is an area that is defined by everything in it. All places have features that give them personality and there own little sparkle, this helps scientist and other people distinguish one place from another. In this case I am describing Cardigan. Cardigan is a mountain that people regularly climb, meaning that there are parts about it that would be considered physical, and there are other parts that would be cultural. Let's start off with physical geography(!) Physical geography(!) would probably be considered the easier of the two types of geography to talk about when you hear mountain. Cardigan mountain has glacial erratics, granite, streams, rivers, logs, lichen, mushrooms and other types of fungi, coniferous trees (more as we got higher in elevation), deciduous trees (less the higher we got), salamanders, and many more. This description of Cardigan helps distinguish it from other mountains and places around the world.

Cultural geography(!)

Not only can Cardigan be described from its physical features it can also be described from its Cultural features. For instance, Cardigan has the AMC lodge, the firetower, food, cellar holes, the high mountain cabin, blazes, cairns, the paths, and more all represent Cardigan perfectly if you talking about cultural geography(!) In conclusion, a place is an area defined by everything in it, whether it's physical or cultural geography(!)

We were there for three days, sunday, monday, and tuesday<. The first day we did little trails and settled in, the second day we hiked Cardigan mountain, and the third day we hiked a bit more and went home.
